deep breaths
It has been a heck of a week this week. I’m really worried about my Mom, she gets short of breath when walking upstairs, and has to wait until Wed. to get her test done. Today, I drive to work and my car decides to stop running while I’m driving and only 5 min. away from work. I thought maybe I ran out of gas because my fuel gage hasn’t worked in over a year, but put a gallon in and it still doesn’t work. I took it to the saline dealer (it was the only thing close) and of course, $1,100 in damages. It is really a serious punch in the stomach. They said it’d be $400 to get it running for me, but then I no longer have an automatic car starter 
which I really truly love to death. I really hate being a girl. They are trying to tell me it looks like something ate the wires (a mouse is what they said)….wait a sec, a mouse?? I don’t live in the country, so that makes absolutely NO sense to me.
I’m seriously bummed right now. Things happen in three’s so i’m just waiting for my next one around the corner!! I’m debating to start looking for a second job, because I have no idea how I”m going to afford anything at this point

We live in the city…and have seen 2 mice in our house. Yes, 2! One Brad killed with a shovel, the other one we couldn’t get to come out after we trapped it in our ducts. It’s that time of year, they want to find any warm place they can out of the elements. Bummer it’ll cost so much. You could always have the auto start put in at a later time…I know it sucks with winter, but it’s not so bad to go out and start your car in the cold. I do it every day. Good luck!
Besides for mice, there are always squirrels too. When I kept my Beetle outside a couple years ago, I opened up the airfilter because the car was giving me problems… it wasn’t because of the airfilter, however it was FULL of nuts!!! It was like someone just poured a whole bag of nuts in there - it was crazy. I tried to ignore the “for crying out loud Elaine” look from my father - I hate those! lol –Who ever looks in there anyway other than him? he he
