Becoming a small town girl….
Anyway, the date has been set! August 9th is the reception and looking for a June wedding. Mid-June that is. Let the countdown begin. I looked at dresses for the first time. Wow. It was the most amazing experience I have ever had. It became real on Saturday. I said to steve that no matter what you look like, what size you are, what colors you are, there is no way one person could look ugly in a wedding gown. Sure, I found of ton “no’s” but when you slip that thing over your head, you really truly are a princess. I”m running out of time tho. Appararently it takes 6 months for a dress to be made and then another month or so for alterations!! EEKS!!!!!
I can’t believe I”m more excited to be getting a tiara and whats even more crazy?? I’m going to buy some white ugg boots and a “lord of the rings” type cape with a white hood. This cape has the cutest white muffs for my hands since its going to be snowing for our wedding. I want to wear it out all the time!!! If you would have told me 20 years ago I’d be getting married in the winter I’d laugh, but now I think its going to be exciting!! yay!!!
We got a great response back from a wedding coordinator, and went smaller than what our budget was! I don’t know what I’m more excited for–new zealand or australia. I know all this penny pinching for the next 6 months will completely pay off the minute my feet lands on the ground…
Got my allergy shot today and ready to just start breathing again! (literally)
I’m so happy for you chicka! That’s awesome that you guys are getting things all lined up. Being 30 really isn’t so bad….I like the advantages it’s had. I so love the idea of you in a cape with a white hood and some cute little Uggs! Can’t wait to see you all dolled up.
