I need a new scale
This weekend was yet another challenge for me, but I somehow seemed to manage. Friday Leilani took me out to lunch since i had a horrible day at work on thursday, but opted for a garden salad at good time charlie’s. Friday morning and for dinner I had special k but for dinner I also added 1/2 cup of peas. 1 hour at the gym.
Saturday I had to go to a breakast thing for work, and had 1/4 of a cheese omlet (didn’t like it), two small pancakes with blueberries and strawberries, and two slices of bacon. For dinner, I had a grilled chicken salad at applebee’s with mom, and cranberry juice at the bar with elaine and lori.
Sunday, I cheated with toast and p. butter at mom’s (all she had), KFC from grandma, but got green beans, small scoup of potatos, and peaches. Hardly any water drank on saturday–
I woke up with butterflies in my stomach since I get to see my man finally today! I had to get up early, stepped on the scale and it said 117. I couldn’t believe it. 5 pounds down. I moved the scale around 6 times, and once it came up at 120. It’s sooooooooooooo annoying. I don’t know if my floors are uneven for it to be doing that, but I”ve wanted to get a nice one for a long time–one that also reads the % fat percent.
My grandma finally got me some $$$ for cleaning her house last weekend. REAL nice. Went to meijer and bought a bunch of healthy food, wheat spaghetti noodles, gluten-free cereal, soymilk, sugar free cookies (for my chocolate cravings), jello, fruit, and veggie’s. It was EXPENSIVE. Only 2 bags of groceries and I was at $40.00. Unreal. the price you pay for eating better I guess. I have more energy–and require less sleep these days.
I must get moving as I”m only at work 1/2 day today. woohoo :) Hopefully I can still keep this up with boyfriend being back. Whenever I am in a relationship, I tend to slack and start adding on the pounds….
